Raise the Bar

We must be “raising the bar” in our spiritual lives. How does that happen? We benefit when we connect strongly with God and learn to love Him with greater passion. At Cuyahoga Valley Church, we finished a five-week series on raising the bar in early 2008. We challenged our members and attenders to Raise the Bar in each of four areas of their lives ... prayer, worship, giving and Bible intake. The response given was incredible, and what follows is a sampling of those responses. Enjoy!

Woman reads Bible and runs to raise the bar

I have combined my New Year's resolution of becoming more fit with my new worship resolution of getting my soul more fit.... by reading the One Year Bible while I run on the treadmill. I'm losing inches and gaining spiritual discipline.
